Basement Waterproofing
Waterproofing is needed anytime a structure is built below ground. Waterproofing and drainage considerations are especially needed in cases where ground water is in the soil and is not draining away from the foundation.

When a living space is below ground and the exterior has not been waterproofed then it has a strong chance of letting water into the basement.

At Pacific Waterproofing we have done a lot of research into interior basement waterproofing systems and have perfected a sub-slab drainage system to keep your basement dry and without mildew. Our basement systems require zero maintenance and are completely out of sight, and hidden beneath your walls and floor. We even remove and replace any studs and drywall needed.

Basement Waterproofing

A moist basement may not seem too serious, especially if the basement is unfinished. Moisture is an early warning sign that the concrete is failing and letting water in. If left untreated, the problem will get worse and the cost of repair will go up. Don’t wait till its too late!

Signs that your basement is leaking

  • Moist Air
This can be a sign of a small leak in your basement. Over time the problem could get much worse

  • Cracks in foundation wall
Cracks are common area for water to enter a basement. Even if your basement isn’t showing signs of leaking water through the cracks, they are a sure sign that your basement will be leaking soon.
  • Mildew or Mold
Mildew and mold can both be signs of a leaking basement. Check your basement thoroughly for leaks, even the smallest leak can cause mold and mildew.
  • Water
Even if only a small amount of water is making its way inside, it is a sure sign that your basement is vulnerable. If left untreated, the problem will only get worse and the waterproofing and repair costs will increase significantly. A leak will never dry up on its own.
